GentleCure™ Superficial Radiation Therapy (Image-Guided SRT)
GentleCure™ uses low-dose superficial radiation to treat certain skin cancers without surgery.
Ultrasound imaging is used before each treatment to help target the cancer while protecting surrounding healthy tissue.
Best for:
- Patients who prefer to avoid surgery or are not surgical candidates
Advantages
- No surgical wound
Considerations
- Requires multiple treatment visits (typically 15–20+)
- Not appropriate for every skin cancer
- Long-term follow-up is important
- Insurance coverage may vary
